ASAHI Technologies Fresher Interview Questions – Part – II
This blog explains briefly about ASAHI Technologies Fresher Interview Questions – Part – II both technical and aptitude questions and are :
In the previous blog about ASAHI Technologies Fresher Interview Questions – Part – I we have discussed about some basic topics related to the interview syllabus . Here in this blog it is clear about the aptitude questions in logical reasoning , quantitative aptitude , etc.
We shall discuss one question on each topic specified for us . Some of the best examples are :
1. ODD MAN OUT & SERIES
2 , 5 , 10 , 17 , 26 , 37 , 50 , 64
ANSWER : 64
REASON : All are in the pattern x2 + 1 . But 64 is only the square of the number 8 .

2. NUMBER SERIES :
2 , 5 , 9 , 17 , 33 , ?
ANSWER : 65
REASON : All are the sum of the powers of 2 and 1 . 5 = 1 + 2 2 and 9 = 1 + 2 3
In the same way we get 65 = 26 + 1

3 . FIND THE MISSING NUMBER :
9 , 12 , 11 , 14 , 13 , ? , 15
ANSWER : 16
REASON : In the given series alternatively we add 3 and subtract 1 .
9 , 9 + 3 , 12 – 1 , 11 + 3 , 14 – 1 , 13 + 3 , 16 – 1 => 16 is the missing number.

4 . PICTORIAL REPRESENTATION :
If there are 144 students in a class room then the number of students
who speak Tamil will be ?
ANSWER : There are about 7 / 72 students who speaks Tamil .
Since from the pictograph we get 7 out of total 72.
=> 144 * ( 7 / 72 ) = 2 * 7 = 14 students.

5 . TIME & WORK
A can finish a work in 12 days and B can finish it in 15 days independently . If both A and B work together , how many days will be taken to complete the work ?
ANSWER : A’s one day work = 1 / 12
B’s one day work = 1 / 15
( A + B ) ‘s one day work = 1 / 12 + 1/ 15
= 5 / 60 + 4 / 60
= 9 / 60 = 3 / 20
Hence both A and B together finish the work in 20 / 3 days

6 . TIME & DISTANCE
The train of 100m long is running at the speed of 30 km/hr. Find the time taken by it to pass a man standing near the railway line.
SOLUTION :
Given, speed = 30 km/hr
= 30 x 5/18 m/sec
= 25/3 m/sec
Also,distance = 100 m
=> Time taken = distance/speed
= 100 x 25/3
= 12 seconds.
Hence, the time taken to pass the man is 12 seconds.

7. AGES
Victor’s age after 15 years will be 5 times the age before 5 years back . What is the present age of Victor ?
ANSWER :
Let the present age of Victor be x years . Then before 5 years it will be ( x – 5 ) years and after 15 years it will be ( x + 5) years . So , by given data we get
5 ( x – 5 ) = x + 15
5x – 25 = x + 15
5x – x = 25 + 15 => 4x = 40 => x = 10 years
Thus the present age of Victor is 10 years .
