Java Batch B11 – A Voluntary Feedback

springboot feedback.payilagam

This week, we finished a Java Batch with SpringBoot (B11). At the end of of the session, some of the trainees met us and updated their feedback. Though we collect feedback from our trainees often, this time they voluntarily met us and updated their feedback. Voluntary feedback is not usual. Only when People are overwhelmed or highly felt sad, Voluntary feedback will be there. When they are very happy at the end of the sessions, they will share their happiness forgetting themselves. The other scenario is when their expectations are not at all met.

The second scenario is not possible in Payilagam, not because of the claim that we are the best training institutes in Chennai, but because of the regular feedback we collect from our trainees often.

A Voluntary Feedback

Ok, what is the feedback all about? They told us, we, trainers should be more strict in getting the jobs done from our trainees. Usually, we request all our trainees to complete the task. What they expect from us, We should order (not request) the trainees to complete the task. Should we order the trainees? Was that given as a feedback?

No, we should not take the literal meaning of “order”. We should give them tasks and tests regularly, should monitor, sit with them when they do and clear their doubts. Though it is done through other ways in Payilagam, By this way of “Ordering”, no trainee will be left with half knowledge. This task completion should be done on regular basis. This is the request passed to us.

We asked them – Giving Freedom to our trainees is our goal. It should be their call, to complete all the tasks given. Immediately they told us, “Yes you are right, but unless you force us to do something, Not everyone will complete. If there is a force from trainer, all people will sit and do the tasks. We need a special session to clarify all the doubts”. Though we couldn’t conclusively tell them that we will implement it, we told them to have discussions with Logesh, Vijay and Jothy on this. In the afternoon, post lunch, we all discussed about the feedback.

On this request, we luckily had Siva in our premises. With Siva’s help, we immediately implemented everything in our payilagam portal. From next batch onwards, everything will be monitored through our portal and hopefully our Trainees will enjoy it.

One More Voluntary Feedback traineesOne More Voluntary Feedback

One more request from them is, to conduct Springboot training by Prithivi through class room training. Initially, we planned to have Online Springboot session. In Springboot, we have MVC Pattern Introduction. After this, we taught them many annotations. This made our trainees to think that class room Springboot training would be better than Online sessions. Though it is bit tough to have classroom sessions early morning, for our Trainer Prithivi, we requested him to have Class Room sessions for Springboot as much as possible. He accepted our request without any hesitation. We requested him to have Class room sessions whenever feasible. On not-possible days, he will update our trainees well before they start to class, to attend the session through online mode.

We are in Training field for more than a decade. The only thing which make ourselves cherished is, working on the feedback provided by our trainees. We strongly believe that Every feedback is carving us to be a better shape.

A Big thanks to our Java trainees who voluntarily called us and their shared feedback.
